Fresh off the release of their bold and exhilarating new album, Future Breeds released on Dine Alone
Records, and month-long residencies in New York and Los Angeles, Hot Hot Heat are getting ready to hit the road hard.
Founded in 1999, the quartet released a number of EPs, compilations, singles and a debut album, "Scenes One Through Thirteen", that generated enough buzz to get the band signed to SubPop Records who released in April 2002 a 5-track EP titled "Knock Knock Knock".
Shortly afterwards they recorded, "Make Up The Breakdown", which peaked at #5 on the U.S. Top
Independent Albums chart and cracked The Billboard Top 200 while the singles "Bandages" and "Talk To Me, Dance With Me", climbed into the top 20 of The Modern Rock chart. In early April 2005 the group
released "Elevator", which generated two Modern Rock top 30 hits: "Goodnight Goodnight" and "Middle Of Nowhere" then followed up in September 2007 with "Happiness Ltd.".
2009 saw HHH back in the studio, experimenting with amps, microphone placements, alternative sounds and vintage gear, to record "Future Breeds", the first HHH album cut in the band's own studio, Tugboat Place. The guys will be touring Canada throughout October, bringing the addictive melodies and fiery energy of the new material to life.
Joining Hot Hot Heat on tour will be Hey Rosetta! and Rich Aucoin.
